Mr. Ruetz is an IT executive with over thirty (30) years of experience, that includes systems development, technical services, large project management, business continuity planning, IT management and management consulting. Prior to joining PracTrans Mr. Ruetz was the Vice President and General Manager of GramTel Continuity Services, a regional disaster recovery/business continuity services provider. Before entering the business continuity space Mr. Ruetz spent nineteen (19) years running migration services companies. He was Vice President of Services and Delivery for BluePhoenix Solutions. At BluePhoenix Mr. Ruetz was responsible for all services delivery in North America and was a member of the executive management committee.
For fifteen (15) years Mr. Ruetz owned and operated his own IT consulting company that specialized in large platform migration projects utilizing a fixed price approach. As President of IntraComp Group Mr. Ruetz oversaw the successful delivery of multi-year multi-million dollar engagements for over fifty (50) Fortune 500 clients. BluePhoenix acquired IntraComp Group in 2000. Prior to founding IntraComp Group Mr. Ruetz was employed as an IT Manager for the Clark Equipment Company, a leading manufacturer of axles, transmissions, fork lift trucks and earth moving equipment. Mr. Ruetz earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Tri-State University and a M.B.A. from Indiana University.
Mr. Sampson possesses over thirty-five (35) years of data processing experience developing financial applications, managing large complex projects and developing software modernization tools. Prior to founding PracTrans, Mr. Sampson worked for BluePhoenix / IntraComp Group, a consulting company specializing in large platform migrations. Additionally, Mr. Sampson has owned and operated a data processing service bureau providing banking services to small banks and savings and loan companies. Mr. Sampson earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Jacksonville University.
Mr. Olmstead is a data processing professional with over thirty-eight (38) years of large project management and legacy modernization experience with Practical Transitions, BluePhoenix Solutions, IntraComp Group, Rollerblade, SNE/Plygem, Huffy Bicycle, Clark Equipment Company and Honeywell Information Systems. Mr. Olmstead has managed successful development and conversion projects in IBM/zOS, IBM/AS400, UNIX, Windows and Bull environments. Throughout his career he has worked as an IS Manager, Project Manager, Technical Services Manager, Operations Manager, Systems Programmer and Systems Engineer.
